DR. JOHN BIRZGALIS
Dentist
Dr. John Birzgalis graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta in 1974 and has been practicing general dentistry for over 40 years. After working at various clinics in the Edmonton area, John opened Northtown Dental Associates. During his leisure time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and grandchildren, as well as participating in activities involving golfing, basketball and squash.
DR. JOSEPH RAIMONDI
Dentist
Dr. Joseph Raimondi graduated from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. He also completed a Bachelor of Science degree and started practicing at Northtown Dental Associates upon graduating. Joseph attends regular courses in continuing education in all aspects of general dentistry, but has a special interest in root canal therapy. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
DR. MONA ATTIA
Dentist
Dr. Mona Attia graduated from Cairo University with a Doctor of Dental surgery degree in 1995, followed by a Master’s in addition to a PhD and post doctoral studies in Egypt. She has been practicing dentistry since 1995. Dr. Mona is trilingual, being fluent in English, French, and Arabic. In 2012, Dr. Mona immigrated to Canada with her family and through years of hard work, she successfully obtained a Canadian license to practice dentistry by the National Dental Exam Board. She practiced as a General Dentist in Toronto, and even instructed at the University of Toronto for two years. Currently, she is a member of the Canadian and Alberta Dental Associations, and has been a resident in Edmonton along with her family since August of 2019. She joined the Northtown Dental Associates team in January 2020.
Moreover, she is attending courses in Continuing Education to further her knowledge and to remain current with new and emerging advanced dental techniques and materials. Specifically, she has a passionate interest in the esthetic and restorative procedures.
She treats her patients of all ages like family, striving to provide best oral and dental comprehensive help and care. Dr. Attia enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children, their pets, and friends.
DR. JESSICA CODY
Dentist
Dr. Cody graduated from the University of Alberta in 2022. She has a passion for all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in Invisalign and esthetics. She enjoys getting to know her patients and loves tailoring treatment plans for their specific needs. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys painting, gardening, and spending time with her husband and dog.
